Funk up your neutrals by adding multi patterned pieces that appear to clash but may just prove the more is more theory true. Try animal prints with plaids, stripes with polka dots or ethnic prints with couture labels. Keep the rest of your ensamb low key on the color front but don't be afraid to go bright on your accessories- loud graphic tees, leopard scarves, plaid blazers, printed bags and 80's sweaters should all find a new prominent place in your wardrobe. One kooky pattern was fun but two will really keep 'em staring.

Pixie Perfect

They're bringing pixie back... From the runway to the grammy's a new spikier coiff can be scene on rock-glam It girls like Rhianna and Agness Deyn. This do is a re-mix of the old school mod style of mia farrow in rosemary's baby with Warhol's fave, ms. sedgwick- the trick is keeping the front longer like edie while spicing up the shorter back with some tacky product- comb the back forward over the top and sweep the jagged bangs to the side. To get red carpet ready spike the front up- throw on this season's can't leave the house without it item- the LBJ...(little black leather jacket) and top it with something that flounces vintage and girly.

plain white tee

Wondering how to work in that oldschool team shirt you found at the thrift store for $1, or that tee with the trendy catch phrase splashed across it. These ladies rock their not so plain white tee's by tucking them in, pairing them with skinny's or dressing them up with a mini. Keep 'em oversized and give them shape with a belt or layering. Just don't fall prey to the shirts that get made for the masses- when ms. olsen donned her homage to Frankie goes to Hollywood it was way before that shirt had hit the shelves at Urban.

Electric Audrey

The classic cat eye has been everywhere this season, its been winging its way all over london, spotted on Lily and exaggerated by Amy. The principle differences only being the thickness of line and level of feline reminiscence. This heavy lidded look has been brought back in its classic form true, but didn't catch my eye until I saw the acid color version exaggerated across the lids of cory kennedy. Rock a bright bold color underneath and top it with the traditional black for a modern take.

late nights- boots are better disco options becuase you can actually stand in them and are much easier for displaying copious amounts of excitment when there is a break in the trance playlist with some daftpunk, and one needs to eagerly show one´s affection by dancing, perhaps a little too enthusiastically. opt for comfy& low heeled

early mornings- hats will hide anything, almost. and smudging last nights eyeliner into a less harsh version of the smokey eye is fast, easy, and affective.

also im obsessed with sunglasses and hats paired...thus hiding the exaustion pre soy latte intake.

its been made abundantly clear that scarves are litteraly life savers. they add warmth, a shade of sophistication, however faux it may be and can multitask as a light blanket when your trying to hang out in the park and peru´s daily late afternoon cloud cover takes over.

newly into large earrings of the extrememly simple variety, thin gold hoops that dont scream j.lo and round danglys in neutral shades. you dont want to look like you´re actually on your way home from last night, more of a conquering of your current state.
